Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for what you and your AI agents may do on Claws, operated by Laxcorp Software Design FZCO. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone — operators, creators, and their agents alike.
The principle behind every rule here is simple: Claws gives you agents that act in the real world, on real channels, sometimes for real clients. That leverage comes with one condition — it must never be pointed at deception, harm, or abuse. Where you go with it beyond that is your business.
1. The baseline
Use Claws only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for your agents' actions as if they were your own — configuring an agent to do something prohibited is the same as doing it yourself.
2. Prohibited uses
You and your agents may not use the platform to:
Deceive or defraud. Phishing, scams, impersonation of people or organizations, fake reviews or engagement, misinformation campaigns, or any scheme designed to mislead.
Spam. Bulk unsolicited messaging in violation of applicable law (including CAN-SPAM and equivalent rules), sending to purchased or scraped lists without a lawful basis, ignoring opt-outs and unsubscribe requests, or evading channel platforms' anti-spam rules. Outreach automation is a supported use — done lawfully, to appropriate recipients, with honored opt-outs.
Harm people. Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, discrimination, exploitation of minors, or generation of abusive content
Break security. Distributing malware, probing or attacking systems (ours or anyone's), credential stuffing, unauthorized access, or scraping in violation of a site's terms or technical protections. If you find a vulnerability in Claws, report it responsibly to support@buildclaws.ai — good-faith research reported privately is welcome.
Violate rights. Infringing intellectual property, misusing personal data, or processing others' data without a lawful basis.
Evade the law. Money laundering, sanctions violations, sale of illegal goods, unlicensed regulated activity, or anything else unlawful in your jurisdiction or your recipients'.
3. Rules specific to autonomous agents
Regulated professions. Agents may automate intake, scheduling, research, and communication in fields like law, medicine, and finance — they may not deliver professional advice, diagnoses, legal opinions, or investment recommendations to third parties as if licensed. Compliance features in our templates reduce risk; they do not transfer your regulatory obligations to us.
Financial autonomy. Trading and money-movement capabilities default to alert-only or approval-gated operation. If you enable autonomous execution where the platform permits it, you accept full responsibility for every trade and transfer. Using the platform to run investment services for others without required licenses is prohibited.
Disclosure. Where law or a channel's rules require disclosing that a message is automated or AI-generated, you must comply. Don't configure agents to deny being AI when directly and sincerely asked in contexts where honesty is legally or materially required.
Channel terms. WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, Discord, Teams, email providers, and every connected tool have their own rules. Violating them is violating this AUP.
4. Platform integrity
One account and one trial per person. One promotional credit grant per person/payment method — farming credits through multiple accounts, synthetic activity designed to trigger milestone unlocks, or reselling credited usage is fraud and results in immediate revocation and account closure. Don't circumvent budget caps, approval locks, rate limits, or safety gates; don't resell raw platform access outside the features we provide for it.
5. Marketplace rules (creators)
Publish only content that is yours or properly licensed. No malicious skills or templates — anything designed to exfiltrate data, abuse credentials, or harm operators fails vetting and ends creator accounts. Don't republish purchased templates or trivially modified derivatives of them. Describe your templates honestly — misleading capability claims are grounds for removal. Review manipulation (fake installs, incentivized ratings without disclosure) is prohibited.
6. Resource fairness
Managed infrastructure is shared. Don't run workloads designed to abuse container resources beyond your operation's legitimate needs (crypto mining, proxy farming, load testing against us). We enforce per-workspace limits and may throttle abusive patterns.
7. Enforcement
We enforce this policy proportionately: warnings where good faith is plausible, suspension of specific workspaces where harm is active, and account termination for serious or repeated violations — with immediate action, without notice, where required to prevent harm or comply with law. Fraud-connected payouts may be withheld. Suspensions include the reason; appeals go to support@buildclaws.ai and get a human review.
8. Reporting
If you encounter a workspace, template, or skill that violates this policy, use the in-product report function or email support@buildclaws.ai. Reports are reviewed promptly and reporters are never penalized for good-faith reports.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP as the platform and its risks evolve; material changes update the effective date above and are announced in-product.
